. . . for defending us against South Dakota, Argentina, Chile, Haiti, Idaho, Hawaii, Chicago, Nicaragua, China, Korea, Panama, Philippines, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Guam Minnesota, Samoa, Oklahoma, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Colorado, Mexico, Texas, Russia, Turkey, El Salvador, Yugoslavia, Uruguay, Iran, Vietnam, Guatemala, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Iraq, Germany, Laos, Oman, Laos, the entire Middle East, Virgin Islands, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bosnia, Zaire, Liberia, Albania, Sudan, Afghanistan, Greece, Detroit, Yemen, Macedonia, Colombia, Somalia, Syria, Niger, and countless other enemies with all of its military interventions since 1890.

Why does it seem that every other country in the world hates us?  My guess is that, as the neocons said about the the motivation for 9/11, they hate us because of our success.
