Thanks, Adam Dick and the Ron Paul Institute

I greatly appreciated this essay by Adam Dick: https://www.lewrockwell.com/2015/06/no_author/want-to-get-rid-of-racist-flags/. What do I take away from this? Perhaps we should replace Abraham Lincoln on the five dollar bill. After all (read the magnificent and courageous Tom DiLorenzo on this), “Honest” Abe said something (paraphrase) like this: I don’t care about slavery, I only care about preserving the union of the United States of America. If getting rid of slavery will preserve the union, I will abolish slavery. BUT IF KEEPING SLAVERY WILL PRESERVE THE UNION, I WILL SUPPORT SLAVERY.” What else to do I take away from this? With friends like David Boaz at Cato, and Steve Chapman at Reason, we hardly need intellectual enemies.
