I am very skeptical of tests used to evaluate people: they tend to be very superficial in nature. With that caveat, I have come up with a question that seems to provide insight into whether another person is a proponent of individual liberty, or of obedience to state power: do you regard Ed Snowden as a hero or a traitor?
