Taxation, Even For Obummercare, Is Theft

…[T]he battle against the potential repeal of” Obummercare has turned even more fatuous and sinful at a protest in New York City as “faith leaders and congregation from a variety of faith traditions” demand that Leviathan continue stealing money from some of us to bestow over-priced and ineffective medical insurance on others.

…[P]astor Alistair Drummond of West End Presbyterian Church and Laura Jervis, parish associate at Rutgers Presbyterian Church” excused their exhortation of larceny by claiming “We are people shaped by our respect for life and the dignity of each human person…”

Glad to hear it. I look forward to seeing them at the next protest against Planned Butcherhood and abortion.

Meanwhile, according to the leftist website Vox, “…many representatives of faith communities have become vocal supporters of [Obummercare] …’As clergy, … we do consistently preach about caring for the poor, the hungry, the refugee, the immigrant, and all of those on the outside of power,’ Rev. Elaine Ellis Thomas, associate rector of St. Paul’s Memorial Episcopal Church in Charlottesville, Virginia, told Vox. ‘Caring for basic needs such as health is a gospel imperative.”

Only imbeciles like Elaine confuse taxation and totalitarianism with the voluntary charity the Lord commands. No wonder American Christianity is so quenched and ineffective: morons of the first order are “leading” it.
