Suggestion of the Week

April 10, 2015

Craig Carter, who bills himself as a “fierce libertarian,” writes a column for The Argus [OR] Observer. He therein “proposes everyone with an email account or a cellphone take a picture of cat poop (or any other kind of pet poop for that matter) and send it to as many people as possible. Preferably people who like you and have a sense of humor. Ideally people who feel the same way you may feel about a government founded on principles of freedom and liberty spying on law-abiding citizens. In the subject line of the email, [I suggest] you type, ‘Take that, you NSA snoops,’ and as for texts, well, texting a pic of poop kinda speaks for itself, doesn’t it?”

Indeed, it does. Adieu: I’m off to shoot some of the rat droppings in which New York City abounds. They strike me as especially appropriate for the NSA’s finks.
