It’s Still Garbage

Until there is proof, until witnesses are named, until accusers can be named and confronted through judicial or judicial-like procedures, Garbage-gate, which is mainly an accusation that Trump engaged in lewd sexual activities while in Russia in 2013 that were filmed by Russian intelligence operatives, remains a compendium of opaque garbage.

Whatever its origins and connections to government intelligence agencies, Garbage-gate is now a spy game, being played on the CIA-MI6 ball field, and that gives them the advantage. As with the DNC hacking accusations, so with Garbage-gate. There can be no proof of something significant without penetrating the wall of secrecy around these intelligence outfits. Barring renegades from within, they control the “leaks” and their timing, another advantage. They can attribute and get the media to attribute any move that Trump makes to come to terms with Russia as a payoff to blackmailers. Without access to sources and actual evidence, this cannot be proved or disproved. The objective of the anti-Russia elements in government is to place Trump on the defensive in his dealing with Russia, or to discredit him or even bring about his resignation.

Trump has survived his own statements about women. He has survived an election-eve story about an affair with Karen McDougal. He could survive further verified revelations about his sexual activities if such come to light. The climate in this country has changed greatly regarding sex, prostitution, call girls, sexual preferences, nudity in movies and on TV, sexual language, sex in comedy, and pornography. It is not obvious that Trump could even be blackmailed over sexual deeds. If Bill Clinton survived his infidelities, assaults and rape allegation, Trump could survive.
