Secession

Lew, glad to see this great topic being discussed. I am for secession any time any where. But the folks discussing this are not following through on their thoughts. I sympathise with folks from the Michigan Upper Peninsula or Northern California who want out from under bad state governments. But under the present regime, this would only mean more Senators and Electoral College votes for California or Michigan. Something that could well make things a lot worse. In any meaningful discussion secession must mean out from under the evil empire based in D.C.
