What the teacher forgot to tell her young conscripts was that the soldiers had gone off to war because they had also been government-school recruits indoctrinated by a prior generation of pedagogues in the virtues of killing and dying for the glory of the state!
I wonder when government-schools will be regarded as the most vile form of child abuse?
