Ron Paul’s Latest Victory at Morgan State

September 28, 2007

Two things about this debate really stood out: First, the moderator was a model of civility compared to the buffoonish jerks like Chris Wallace who “moderated” the Faux News Channel debate. Second, all of Ron Paul’s opponents came prepared with a menu of Big Government programs, from more courts, more government “rehab” programs, and of course more war. They’re all Hillary wannabes.

Huckabee made the dumbest comment of the night, claiming that urban crime occurs mainly because “we” have a drug and alcohol problem. We therefore need more federal welfare programs to deal with this, he said. As Ron Paul correctly pointed out, IT’S PROHIBITION, STUPID, not the mere consumption of drugs and alcohol, that is the cause of all the “drug crime.”
