Roman Charges on Your Phone

Kathleen reports that Tony Roman’s video 

so inspired me that I had to pick up the phone and call his restaurant. (Months ago, I did so when I’d heard about him from Peggy Hall; I called to thank and encourage everyone there.) 

…as I spoke to the person who answered, he was very grateful for my call; he said so and I could hear it in his voice. He went on to say that Tony was actually there, having a meal with a person who’d just interviewed him. … I said, “Would he (Tony) have a chance to come to the phone?” He hesitated, saying Tony was busy with this person…but…”Wait a sec…He wants to speak with you.” 

Next thing I know, I’m hearing that voice. 🙂 We had a lovely chat–natural, flowing–clearly two people on the same page. I wanted so much to encourage him, to tell him the great service he is carrying out, to thank him for his courage, etc., etc. I told him that [my family] and I are so adamant about masks that the only way we’d ever wear them would be as corpses. Tony appreciated that. Next thing I know he’s thanking me and giving me his mobile phone number so we can “stay in touch.”

Kathleen also maintains an email list. She forwarded Mr. Roman’s video to her audience with this request:

Please take a few minutes (about 14) to listen to this amazing man–persecuted by those in that organized crime syndicate we call “government”. Tony Roman owns and operates Basilico’s Pasta e Vino in Huntington Beach, CA. He speaks directly to Gavin “Pelosi” and then addresses all those minions in the “agencies”–the people we pay who in turn turn on us and persecute and prosecute us…

She also issued a plea for action:

…One way that he said we can help him is to call the “ABC”–the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and “bombard” them with support for his restaurant. The phone number for that organized crime unit is (916) 419-2500. They can be emailed at [email protected]. The new director is Eric Hirata. He needs to know that he needs to back off…
