Republicans and Regulations
November 7, 2014
I heard Republicans described on NPR yesterday (I never listen to Fox) as “regulatory allergic.” What a joke that is. Name one major regulation that Republicans repealed when they controlled both houses of Congress and the presidency for over four years during the Bush years. Just give me one. There are tens of thousands of them. Some Republicans may want fewer regulations than some Democrats, but they really have no argument to make since on a philosophical level they have no problem with the federal government regulating every area of our lives.
