re: Taser Torture
June 14, 2005
Regarding Bill Anderson’s article today about the cop who tasered that poor women because she didn’t respond to his orders quickly enough, I think we have much worse to anticipate. I’ve been traveling recently, and ran across an AP story in a newspaper about how the Israeli government has developed an ear-piercing scream machine that only affects those whom it is pointed at, and not the bureaucrat/cop/army thug who is pointing it. It has not been used on foreign enemies but on Israili citizens who fail to obey the state’s orders. The AP article said the device causes one to double over in severe pain, possibly breaking one’s ear drums. It was used recently on some settlers who balked at the Israeli state’s orders to abandon their homes.
I fully expect to begin reading about this device being used by U.S. police to “pacify” revelers celebrating their sports teams’ victories. Remember how the Boston cop murdered the young girl in cold blood by shooting her in the face, point blank, with a “beanbag gun” last year, after the Red Sox won the World Series?
