Goodman is one of the co-authors of an excellent book called Lives at Risk: Single-Payer National Health Insurance Around the World that shows how bad the single-payer healthcare systems in Canada, England, and New Zealand are. You would think that Goodman would have learned from his own book that any government interference in the market always makes things worse.
