If Chavez doesn’t sell Venezuelan oil in the U.S. he would simply be creating a profit opportunity for someone else (the Saudis, Mexicans, Exxon/Mobil)to sell more oil here. Being a stupid socialist (or do I repeat myself?)– and crazy to boot — Chavez doesn’t understand this. The benefit of this stunt would be that Chavez would have less money with which to destroy his own country. Overall, his economic notions are no crazier than Hillary (socialized health care)Clinton’s.
