re: Crime-imore

Lew, in addition to removing the statues of Lee and Jackson, which will probably reduce the violent crime rate in Baltimore by at least 99%, the president of Loyola University Maryland, Brian Linnane, has just proposed something that, if more widely adopted, will probably eliminate the other 1% of the almost exclusively black-on-black murders in the city. In light of the second anniversary of the Baltimore riots, he said in a recent message to the faculty that he is planning on implementing mandatory “racial justice training” for all faculty, staff, students, janitors, campus cops, pedestrians in the vicinity of the university, drivers of cars passing by, etc. From what I gather from the Web, this essentially involves getting all the white people on campus in a room and hiring a few extremely highly-paid black leftists to harangue them about what big racists they are, even if they don’t recognize it; how they are responsible for the 400+ murders per year in cities like Baltimore and Chicago; how they, and not the rioters, are responsible for the riots, etc. etc. Not everyone agrees with this approach, however, such as this Duke University theology professor who was forced out of his job for questioning the efficacy of such programs.
