The Profits of Socialism

June 22, 2016

Not surprisingly, the wealthiest person in the “socialist paradise”of Venezuela is the daughter of the late commie ruler of that country, Hugo Chavez.  She is reportedly worth $4.2 billion although neither she nor her father ever actually produced anything of value.  She is said to be fond of “toy dogs,” however.

Chavez’s former treasury minister is discovered to have $11.2 billion tucked away in Swiss banks.  Socialism has always paid very, very well for the ruling elite and their supporters at the expense of destroying everyone else’s prosperity.  Venezuelans are really “feeling the Bern” of democratic socialism as they rummage through garbage on the street looking for food.
