Politics Defined

September 26, 2018

During the brouhaha over the woman who claims that Judge Kavanaugh groped her 36 years ago when they were in high school, I’ve noticed that many of the talking heads (especially on FOX) are framing the issue as whether there is something to her accusation, or “it’s all politics.”

I find this interesting because so many of these “mainstream” pundits and talking heads are essentially admitting that “politics” = institutionalized lying.  If it’s politics, they say, then she’s obviously lying and should be ignored.

It is healthy for a society when so many people finally come to understand that institutionalized lying is an integral part of all politics and government.
