PG & E hold wine event outside of Healdsburg as power is shut off across NoCal

This is all turning into a Monty Python skit.  We know this winery. It is high end and on the east side of town near Jimtown on Highway 128. PG & E can take their “economies of scale” and shove them up their lizard scaly ass.

Gentlemen,

It is very unpleasant to be in the hub of an interesting event(s). My good friend Cindy in Midland, Texas wrote to me today that her life was “dull”. Well, Midland has lost 20 to 40% of its oil/gas drilling lately, but perhaps the lack of traffic makes my friend’s life more dull. Ha! Well, it is not dull here in California. Laws are passed every day in Sacramento by the dozens. We can barely keep up with them. And now, three years in a row, PG & E has attacked us. I hear that it is a Rothschild company. It wouldn’t surprise me. They aren’t the kindest family in history. So, friends……the Orcs are in my shire. What to do? T

Dear T:

Mises once wrote (paraphrase): “Don’t give in to evil; instead, proceed more boldly against it.” I think that applies to your situation, today. To the situation of all libertarians, every day.

If the forests in California were privatized, I think that would go a long way in the direction of reducing timberland fires, the ostensible reason for the reductions in electric power.

Best regards,

Walter
