I too was in Paris last week and used Uber extensively. The experience is terrific, as in other cities, much better than the clumsy official taxi system. However, in many cities, Uber cars are clearly marked with a window sticker or decal. In Paris, they are incognito, making it harder to spot your ride. As one driver explained to me, he didn’t want his windows smashed, or worse, by a group of angry taxi drivers.
