The unexpected use of biometric verification started a JetBlue passenger, MacKenzie Fegan, to the point where she took to Twitter to understand the legal aspects of the use of this technology.
But once you start thinking about these things, your thoughts become darker. Fegan wanted to know how JetBlue knew what she looked like.
JetBlue explained: “The information is provided by the United States Department of Homeland Security from existing holdings.”
In this news snippet, one willing slave – otherwise known as a passenger – utters the common cliché: “The people who have nothing to hide are all for it.” And this is probably the same type of guy who waves his flags all over the place, claiming “freedom isn’t free,” and supports the troops by supporting US wars. Folks like this deserve to be in chains.
