Open Letter To Gary Johnson

Dear Gary:

I did an interview today, and the interviewer said that you said that a Jew baker should be forced to bake a cake for a Nazi. My immediate reaction was that you were either misquoted or joking. I fear I was wrong.  Gary, I’m a fan of yours and a supporter. But the libertarian view is that the ONLY acts that should be forbidden by law are those that violate the non aggression principle. For example, murder, rape, theft, arson, kidnapping, etc. Racial, sexual or any other kind of discrimination do not fit this bill and in the libertarian society would be legal. If discrimination were illegal, and this law were fully applied, it would mean compulsory bisexuality, since both homos and heteros discriminate. This is a reductio ad absurdum.
