Only 1 in 4 Kids Are Fit (and No Republicans Are)
January 8, 2014
“Results of the 2012 National Youth Fitness Survey show only 1 in 4 U.S. kids aged 12 to 15 meet the recommendations in the government’s Let’s Move mantra.” This is according to data just released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The real issue here is not the fitness of kids but why does the government have a National Youth Fitness Survey and a CDC in the first place? Republicans are the party of the Constitution (so they say), so why do they support these clearly unconstitutional things?
