One of the Worst Days in History

June 27 is not only one of the worst days in history, its effects are still with us today. On June 27, 1950, President Truman announced that he was ordering U.S. troops to Korea. No declaration of war. Not even a congressional resolution to use force. He spoke and the troops went—just like today. The U.S. military is the president’s personal attack force. 36,516 American soldiers died in Korea for absolutely no reason. And of course, millions of Korean soldiers and civilians, but who cares about them. Here is Justin Raimondo on who really started the Korean War.
