I Am Not Disappointed in Trump
November 15, 2016
Trump is not a libertarian. He is all over the map and bad on most issues. He has named, and will name, some horrendous people to be in his cabinet and head federal agencies. I may not like it, but this does not disappoint me. Since Trump is not a libertarian, I expect his appointments to be all over the map and mostly bad. And since Trump is not a libertarian, I don’t have high expectations for him. And I certainly don’t expect him to act like a libertarian. So I will never be disappointed in Trump. I am glad that he won instead of the wicked witch of the world, but I did not vote for him and am sure that I will find much to criticize over the next four years since my standard is Rothbardian, plumb-line libertarianism.
