No Religious Liberty in California

This comes as no surprise. A California superior court judge on Wednesday has fined a church, Calvary Chapel San Jose, for allowing worshippers to attend services maskless and in person during the coronavirus “pandemic,” thereby violating the county’s COVID-19 restrictions. The article notes that Gov. Newsom’s ban on indoor worship services lasted longer than the state’s forced closure of strip clubs.
