Until now. He had some good things to say in defense of the SALT deduction that both the House and Senate GOP tax bills would abolish and some conservatives and libertarians are strongly in favor of.
Why are some conservatives and libertarians for higher taxes? The loss of a deduction is, after all, a tax increase. I hope to answer that question in an upcoming article.
