NATO’s Overthrow of Gaddafi

I suggested yesterday that Gaddafi’s 2009 plan to nationalize Libyan oil and distribute the profits directly to Libyans, while bypassing the government’s bureaucracies, helped motivate rebel elements within the Libyan government and NATO’s overthrow of Gaddafi. Stephanie Dumont agrees. She writes “I lived in Libya (I’m French) and know that this war is completely unfair to my Libyan friends (aka: the majority of the population) as they have been ignored or ridiculed by the media.
