Subject: Rothbard and Soap Operas

Would you happen to know why Rothbard found soap operas so fascinating?

I’m not complaining about Rothbard’s fascination with soap operas. The man can watch as much TV as he wants. His body, his mind, his choice. (tee hee).

I, myself, can’t resist Brooklyn Nine-Nine. That thing is popcorn for the mind. Nevertheless, I enjoy it.

I was just wondering why he found it so interesting. The guy wrote the book on the soap opera of American Empire, (ie Conceived in Liberty). So I would have thought TV drama would pale in comparison.

Dear Diego:

Sorry, I don’t know WHY Murray liked soap operas. I only know that he did. He and his buddy, Art Carol, used to discuss them. I was amused by these discussions.

Best regards,

Walter

Thanks. While searching for info. on Art Carol, I found this:

Murray Rothbard iPhone cover

Walter Block stickers

I have no association to that site. I just found it interesting. I’m tempted to switch to an iPhone just to get that Rothbard iPhone cover.
