Pausing in their fevered defense of the rack, the iron maiden, and the thumbscrew, conservatives Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan discussed the first PSA in this YouTube on their show this morning. Good for Pat for mentioning that Gerald Ford’s vaccine killed people (Pat, keep listening to Ron), so the subject was quickly changed. There was, however, plenty of time to promote Joe’s new book: The Last Best Hope. I still remember my shock when Nixon blasphemously called the US state “the last best hope of mankind.”
