More on Burt Blumert

Anyone who missed Burt’s ten-minute “show-and-tell” presentation on the history of money is poorer for not having had the experience. I don’t know if a video was ever made of it. If so, it would be nice to put it up on LRC. My introduction came in Burt’s office, when he brought out his stage props – ranging from gold to paper – and began his show. He told me “I know you know all of this, but I want to give my presentation anyway.” Burt was too kind and lovable to resist. I might add, his history of “what has government done to our money” was quite good.
