Media Support of Antifa

Antifa (which I pronounce an’ ti-fa, not an-ti’fa, the accent on the first syllable as in anti-American) is the organization of thugs who use violence to silence, harass, attack, and brutalize their targets. They often dress with face masks and attempt to break up speeches and demonstrations of their chosen opponents.

Have a look at this undercover video. See famous media figures like Whoopi Goldberg and Don Lemon excuse Antifa’s violence or pooh-pooh it. See the undercover video being refused by media newsmen, who turn away from the story. See the weapons that Antifa is prepared to use.

What this adds up to, even if the evidence remains sketchy, is that Antifa through proponents of its ideology is more embedded in our society than simply black-clad men and women on the streets armed with weapons. This is certainly true of the media. I regard their one-sided support of thuggery as being driven by their absurd anti-Trump position, according to which he’s seen or painted for political purposes as some sort of Hitler. It follows that they support even a violent organization that opposes anything on the right that can be labeled as racist, fascist or whatever.

Why won’t Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Alyssa Pressley condemn Antifa and condemn the recent attack on an ICE facility in Tacoma?

Obviously, because they are anti-ICE and condone violence against it. Obviously, because, like the ignorant and violent nutcases in Antifa, they believe that they may initiate violence against whatever and whomever they call “fascist” or “bigots” or “hate speechers” or “white nationalists” or “racists”. They have no qualms about taking the law into their own hands.

What does it mean when public servants refuse to answer the media on matters of great importance to the public? It means that they want to communicate their memes and views only on their own terms with controlled language, propaganda and images. They are afraid to enter a true conversation in which they’d have to defend their views or even express them. They fear the exposure. They only want to emit the party line they’ve rehearsed and concocted. If they haven’t yet come up with such a line, they give everyone the silent treatment. These are impudent rascals who show no respect for the American public. Their goal is to ride to socialist power and win more elections on the back of phony social justice issues like sexuality and gender, phony racism charges, and phony fascist charges.
