Maybe the Sun Fries Their Brains

Florida’s coronavirus cases continued to climb Sunday, with the number of people infected nearing 100,000,” screams a corporate newspaper’s propaganda. That’s “roughly 1 in every 206 people.”

Infected, not dead. In other words, about .5% of residents supposedly carry the virus—but remember the inaccuracy of the tests determining that. And this in a state with more than its fair share of the vulnerable elderly.

“…the death toll in Florida now sits at 3,254.” Again, that figure is highly suspect. But OK, let’s go with it: that means COVID19 kills about 3% of those infected among people unusually susceptible to it.

What would American cry-babies do if smallpox were to strike, with its “fatality rate of about 30%”? And smallpox menaced everyone, not merely older folks or those in poor health. Talk about bodies piling up in the streets!
