‘Mama, Take My Kodachrome Away’

I always used Kodachrome half a century ago. It was slow (ASA 12), but the images were flawless. I stopped using slide film long ago. So did most photographers. Now Kodachrome is no more.
Digital photography is replacing film. And why not? The pictures are better. The optics are as good. You can take a hundred shots for the same money price as a single. You can post the best ones on the Web within minutes.
Do not mourn the death of an aged friend. There is a time to depart.
