Saddam is responsible for WMD disinformation, is the Orwellian claim. Anybody remember Iraq’s 12,000-page weapons declaration to the UN, which told the exact truth, unlike the Pentagon’s warbabies? It was ridiculed, after the US insisted on “redacting” the thousands of pages on US WMD sales to Iraq. Saddam had been evil enough to attack Iran at US behest, and the murder goodies flowed to him.
