Lady Liberty’s Most Prolific Recruiter
March 30, 2021
The last year with its lockdowns and Marxist riots, its masks and anti-social distancing, has wreaked innumerable atrocities. Whether it’s the small businesses and dreams that perished or the folks who killed themselves because Leviathan forced us into isolation, politicizing a germ has destroyed our world. Understandably, that destruction has discouraged and depressed many Patriots.
But why? The shamdemic has educated Americans (and indeed the world!) on the tenets of freedom as nothing else could have! We’ve beheld totalitarianism up close and rejected it. COVIDiocy has recruited millions, who knew little about liberty and cared less, to freedom’s cause. Serfs previously content to let the State’s crimes slide are now vigilant against the ruling criminals.
Evidence abounds, from the owners of a gym in New Jersey, who articulated that free men don’t ask permission to the restaurateurs defying Leviathan with their delicious food and equally delicious dedication to liberty. And here’s yet more proof in the person of Jim, one of LRC’s new readers. He originally wrote to give me the happy news that Kentucky’s “Senate Bill 8, giving us an opt-out from mandatory vaccines, became law today without the governor’s signature. My guess is that he didn’t want to tick us off by vetoing it, but didn’t want to support it. There’s still a lot of work to do, but at least we got that much.”
I asked whether he had personally helped in the effort to pass this legislation. He hadn’t, but he’s recently joined a group of Patriots that meet weekly. “It’s been quite an experience, walking into a room without anyone wearing a muzzle, and getting to hear some impressive speakers…”
I next inquired, “Were you ‘political’ before the plandemic?”
And Jim’s response heartened me as I hope it will you:
No, sure wasn’t. The last election I voted in before 2020 was 2000, and I didn’t vote for either Bush or Gore. And I have never had any intention of running for office. Still don’t. Honestly, I’m kind of upset that the powers-that-shouldn’t-be are making me more political. I’d rather concentrate on things that make me happy instead of fighting tyranny. I’m really not yet actively involved in the fight for freedom, more like looking out for my own interests, but it’s getting to the point where I can see myself getting more involved.
In 2020, I attended a few rallies at the state capitol – one against the fueher’s, er, governor’s, orders and a couple for Trump. I voted for Trump in 2020, though I recognize that he had his shortcomings (like allowing Fraud-chi and scarf-lady to run the show last year). He was the best of a bad lot, and we at least got some good things from Trump that we’re now going to lose under Bidet (e.g. – Obummercare is going to come back with its tax penalty, MPG’s in cars are going to continue to rise to the point of impossibility, the global warming fraud will continue, etc.).
I’m at least knowledgeable enough about politics, but I sure don’t want to get directly involved. Might have to.
Multiply Jim by the plandemic’s millions of victims. Our Rulers have created a monster they cannot control much longer.
