John Allison, the former CEO and Chairman of BB&T and current president and CEO of the Cato Institute, will present a lecture about his book, The Financial Crisis and the Free-Market Cure, on Monday evening at Loyola University Maryland.
TIME: 7 PM – 8 PM
PLACE: McGuire Hall, Andrew White Student Center, Loyola University Maryland, 4501 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21210. Next to the lacrosse stadium.
Free and open to the public. Copies of The Financial Crisis and the Free-Market Cure will be given to all attendees. Pay parking next to the lacrosse stadium; free parking on adjacent Cold Spring Lane and North Charles St.
Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo [send him mail] is a former professor of economics at Loyola University Maryland and a longtime member of the senior faculty of the Mises Institute. He is the author or co-author of eighteen books including The Real Lincoln; How Capitalism Saved America; Lincoln Unmasked; Hamilton's Curse; Organized Crime: The Unvarnished Truth About Government; The Problem with Socialism; and The Politically-Incorrect Guide to Economics.
