It’s Hard to Believe it’s been Two Whole Weeks . . .

. . . since we had a national celebration of militarism, fascism, and mass murder (“Memorial Day”), but here we are, June 14, “Flag Day,” time to do it all over again.

By the way,the origin of “Flag Day” is that a group of New England Yankees from Connecticut in 1861 thought it would be a good idea to begin worshipping the false idol of the state and its flag and to pray for the federal army to kill as may citizens of the Southern states as possible.  It was a part of the Party of Lincoln’s sanctification of the “glorious union.”  Of course, hundreds of thousands of dead Southerners would not have thought of it as being so glorious, or worth saving.
