‘It Neither Picks My Pocket Nor Breaks My Leg’

Writes Guha Lakshmiratan:
I am AVID reader of your blog/website – it’s my first stop before visiting the so called “news” websites of the Main Stream Media.
Recently, while I was channel surfing after a hard night’s work, I came across a ‘preview’ of a new program about to be launched on The Military Channel. It’s titled “God’s Soldier” [premiers 9/10/2008 @ 8 PM EST] and from what I could gather from the preview, it is centered around the life of a pastor/preacher and his life in the military.
Thanks to your wonderful website, some of the comments featured sent my mind thinking – especially when they started talking about ‘policy’ and ‘forming a moral code for war’.
I’ve always enjoyed reading articles on your website regarding a ‘good Christian’s opposition to immoral wars’.
I’ve very much a committed libertarian. I live my life by the immortal words of Thomas Jefferson: “But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”
As such, I’d be interested in comments from yourself or from other writers who contribute to your magnificent website about that particular program.
The Best of Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.
