But I’m glad that Obama didn’t pretend to be the national high priest in his Thanksgiving comment. Geo. Washington started the awful tradition, pretending to be a religious leader, and Lincoln made it much worse. Wilson and FDR joined the crowd, along with George W. The most bloodthirsty tend to be the most faux religious, but maybe the droner-in-chief is breaking that mold.
