Is There a Geneticist in the House?

According to this piece of information from a DNA laboratory:

Q. How long does DNA testing take?

A. Paternity test results typically take about 3-5 business days from the time that all samples arrive at the laboratory. Other tests, like grandparent, sibling, or aunt/uncle tests, may take up to 4 weeks. DNA is uniquely different for each person and some tests may require additional time for analysis or testing.

So how did our $14 trillion dollars in debt “efficient” government get DNA test results back on the dead bin Laden in less than 24 hours? Hmmm?

UPDATE: Jenny Barwick sent this piece from Scientific American explaining how the government could have done the test in less than 12 hours. I still don’t understand why a sibling test from a DNA lab would take up to four weeks (it can’t just be lack of manpower) while the government did it in less than a day. Other Google searches I have done seem to agree with the DNA lab time line. Of course, this whole thing presumes that the U.S. government isn’t lying about doing a DNA test to begin with.
