His story of tax-financed homicide bombing of Vietnamese civilians in a war of aggression, being shot down, having his shoulders broken in the ejection, being beaten by the people he was trying to murder, being arrested and jailed, and being subjected to intensive interrogation techniques-must not be questioned. He got no special treatment; indeed, he refused special treatment. Got it? Still, it’s interesting when he changes his story for political reasons. (Thanks to Travis Holte.)
