Ideological Hate For Practical Reasons

Marxists are miserable varmints, hateful, enfeebled by their evil philosophy, hateful, vengeful, hateful, bitter, hateful, envious and, yes, hateful. So it’s easy to attribute their animus against such noble characters as Robert E. Lee or George Washington to all-consuming hate. 

But something else is going on, too: the puppet-masters jerking the string of the Marxist mobs masterfully harness that hate for ends you may not suspect at first glance. Stefan Molyneux provides one motive (“Cancel culture is a dress rehearsal for mass murder”; we know that after seizing power, Marxists execute their opponents), while Pastor John Weaver attributes it to communists’ antipathy towards the South’s Christian heritage (thanks to Wesley Cox for alerting me to this shepherd’s fine sermons. May the legions of Parsons Goat learn from him).
