Human Composting?

I was not aware that 10 states, now joined by Rhode Island, allow human composting. Why do people want to do this? The answer is to fight climate change. Burials and cremations are bad for the environment. Burials require embalming bodies in toxic solutions and a waste of land. Cremations result in carbon dioxide emissions. According to Rep. Michelle McGraw (D), the principal author of the recent legislation in Rhode Island: “Human composting” is a way to reduce someone’s “carbon footprint” even after death. What is next? Eating the flesh of dead humans? The flesh will just rot so might as well harvest it and freeze it to eat later instead of raising cows and eating them, which, as we all know, contributes to climate change in a big way.
