How Much America Learned From the Nazis

At the end of World War II, the United States was able to grab some of the top German weapons scientists to help design and produce America’s tools of mass slaughter. Are the origins of modern weaponry traceable back to the Nazi war machine? Has anyone else observed how much the shape of the current pilotless drone bombers resemble the German pilotless “buzz bombs?”
