Hobnail Boot To the Max
April 18, 2005
Good point, Anthony. To “spur Western government into action” to curb government atrocities against the people of the Sudan – or any other country – is but to advocate more war (remember Kosovo?), a stance that would, indeed, be hypocritical for anyone consistently opposed to war. I am opposed to murder because of its anti-life nature. Is it hypocritical of me to also oppose murder when done by the state through wars or capital punishment? Max needs to familiarize himself with the words attributed to Einstein: “a problem cannot be solved by the same thinking that produced it.” Of course, if such an insight worked its way too deeply into Max’s thinking, he might become persona non grata at the CFR.
