Lew: Hillary doesn’t hate Americans any more than a cattle rancher hates the livestock whose slaughter is the source of his profits. Hillary – like politicians generally – might “hate” those who stand in the way of the fulfillment of her evil schemes, but all other humans are but resources to be exploited. The arrogance that attends ambitions for coercive power over others cannot abide any expression of emotion (be it anger, hatred, guilt, or sympathy) that might otherwise attach to the victims of one’s machinations. To act otherwise would be to lessen or misdirect the mobilization of energies devoted to the scheme. It would be but another example of “entropy”, i.e., energy otherwise unavailable for productive work.
