Hey VOA: Don’t Slam The Door When You’re Fired

In Palo Alto, California, a group of folks my age (i.e., pre-Woodstock) was marching around last Saturday, waving signs at the college girls crowding the sidewalk and shouting, “Show Me Your A**es!”

I thought this somewhat crude, until I noticed a clearly experienced thug at the head of the gaggle – shouting, herding, and making sure that no discomfited soul lagged behind.

All he lacked was a cattle prod.

But why would these senior citizens in one of the richest zip codes in the country insist that these young ladies bare their behinds – especially to the burly brute agitator who was constantly scowling at the rest of us?

Ah. It was apparent that something was lost in translation. My fellow geezers were actually demanding that Donald Trump “Show Us Your Taxes!”

The group – twenty or thirty strong – milled around in a circle on a small plaza; when some began to sit down on the benches there – it was a beautiful day – the goon shouted, moving them along and directing them down a sidewalk, where they milled around for a while shoving passersby onto the street.

Ah – but this farce is “news.”

The Voice of America is a totally-taxpayer-funded “service” to provide America’s views and news to the world.

During the Obama years, its “reporters” jostled for space in the lap of the Holy O.

But suddenly, last January, VOA declared its “journalistic independence” – and remained the comfy lapdog, slobbering its slanders on Trump while plagiarizing the New York Times (which in turn gets its “news” from taxpayer-funded deep-state bureaucrats) and calling it “journalism.”

So on Monday morning, VOA’s Spanish service spent three minutes (an eternity in the news biz) on the demonstrations – praising the “thousands” (I saw thirty) of demonstrators and constantly referring to Trump as the “multimillonario” (a term they have never employed to describe Hillary).

100% taxpayer funded swill.

Time to shut the water off.

Country’ll grow.
