Hansen and the Climate Gang Always Have Another Creative Explanation

So, the supposed upward spike in temperatures has not occurred in the past two decades, and the Climate Gang, led by James Hansen has yet another spin: the reason that temperatures have not increased because of the burning of fuels like coal is because we have been burning fuels like coal. That’s right; that is the explanation of the so-called prophet of climate change:

In a lengthy article this week, The Economist magazine said if climate scientists were credit-rating agencies, then climate sensitivity – the way climate reacts to changes in carbon-dioxide levels – would be on negative watch but not yet downgraded.

Another paper published by leading climate scientist James Hansen, the head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, says the lower than expected temperature rise between 2000 and the present could be explained by increased emissions from burning coal. (emphasis mine)

Got that? Burning coal causes global warming; burning coal keeps temperatures from rising. Yes, the Great James Hansen violates the Law of Noncontradiction while simultaneously telling the world that anyone who disagrees with him is anti-science and should be tried for “treason against the planet.” (And Paul Krugman has said the same thing. And Krugman is famous for attacking “climate deniers” for being “anti-science.”) Yes, the beat goes on and so do the lies.
