Greenlight a Vet

Beginning on Veterans Day, put a green light on your porch and leave it on forever like JFK’s eternal flame. By doing so you show support for our veterans, or at least that is what this commercial says that ran during the World Series. I have a better idea. Leave your lights alone and tell veterans the truth about the U.S. military, the U.S. empire, and U.S. foreign policy.

Update: A reader points me to the Urban Dictionary. It seems that “green light” is a termed used by gang members when someone has a hit out on them.
