Global Power for America

Here’s one from a reader who worked in the commissary at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska. This goes back some time. “I was driving to work one morning and was astonished to notice a large sign, reading ‘Global Power for America’ posted over the entrance to one of the hangars.” The sign was in disrepair. He tells me that “The sign was official — professionally done, and embedded in the surface of the hangar’s exterior. Obviously something intended to make an official statement.”
